My dragons nail was ripped out... How can I keep it from getting infected?

I have no idea how her nail was ripped out, there's newspaper substrate in the tank. The only theory my boyfriend and I can come up with is that my bigger bearded dragon accidentally ripped it out, because she has scratches all down her leg as well. How can I keep it from getting infected? She's in no pain as of yet.
