I just recieved an email that was sent almost 5 years ago. Has anyone here had one take that long?

My ex wife sent me a link to a site that you can donate your body to science so no one in your family has to pay to cremate you. She sent the link on August 16th 2006. I got the email on May 29th 2011. Strange or what?
